Influenced by her mother from an early age, Lu Xue began learning paper-cutting at the age of six. Encouraged by her mother in her teens, she studied under renowned masters across China. As the founder of the Chinese Hollow-Carved Art school and a practitioner of intangible cultural heritage inheritance, Lu Xue has forged an artistic legend with over four decades of dedication. Her honors and achievements embody both professional depth and cultural breadth. From the glory of being a torchbearer at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games to her responsibilities as a Standing Committee Member of the 10th and 11th Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, she has extended her artistic influence to all sectors of society.
