也许听起来并不陌生,似曾相识,当我们在搜索引擎上打出“卢雪”这两个字,就会出现大量关于卢雪的介绍和视频。2022年,山东电视台以及央视国际频道和清华大学英雄文化基金都对卢雪进行了更为充分的采访和记录。我们这才发现:卢雪不仅是中国艺术研究院特邀研究员及民间艺术创作研究员;不仅仅是国内最年轻的丹麦国旗骑士勋章获得者;不仅仅是中国非物质文化遗产传承人薪传奖、中华英才等奖项获得者;不仅仅是2008年北京奥运会火炬手,中国优秀传统文化的传播者,两岸三地文化艺术交流的推动者,她更是现代青年的喜爱对象。近距离感受过她作品的90后00后,都为她精湛的指尖技艺惊叹,被她的天马行空的想象力折服。直到在光环闪耀的2022年,镂绘艺术家卢雪才逐渐提及自己近三十年来的重磅心血之作——《山海经》。

《山海经》这个名字,大家并不陌生,近来学界都在炒“《山海经》”,且《山海经》和元宇宙相结合,越来越热,随着《山海经》的呼声越来越高,山海神兽、怪植也逐渐被大众了解。现在很多书店都有《山海经》,出版社也是云盯《山海经》,包括但不局限于上海古籍出版社,清华大学出版社,浙江教育出版社等等。这些已经出版的《山海经》大体上都是文言加注释,无图。有些是文言加上注释,再加翻译,配图是一章节之后统一配图,部分是配小部分单图。有的《山海经》的图文不是搭配入文,会在重点章节提及的时候加入。关于《山海经》的章图很少能系统的看见,倒是有一些简单的类似水墨的古画作,也有现代线条的结构画样,有一些色彩比较鲜艳的画作,看起来趋于基础版。只要是没有看过卢雪《山海经》,你就永远不知道《山海经》还能做到如此精美绝伦,它超越平面,超越物理空间,更远超你的想象力。

《山海经》被称之为中国志怪古籍,有称大体纪录战国中后期到汉代初中期的楚国或巴蜀人所作,亦称是一部荒诞不经的奇书。现代人认为该书是中国古代四大奇书之一,古人认为该书是“战国好奇之士取《穆王传》,杂录《庄》、《列》、《离骚》、《周书》、《晋乘》以成者”。现代学者也均认为成书并非一时,作者亦非一人,它是一部内容丰富、风貌奇特的古代佳作,堪称中国奇幻、魔幻文学的开山鼻祖。

作为传统文化兢兢业业的图解绘制者,传播者,卢雪深入研究《山海经》,三十年来不忘初心,用镂绘艺术倾情创作的重量级艺术作品《山海经》即将问世。卢雪《山海经》艺术作品不仅继承了传统艺术的理念和技法,并且完美融合了众多艺术形式的镂绘艺术,是极具艺术流派的新《山海经》。

 

It may sound familiar to you. When we type "Lu Xue" into a search engine, a great deal of introductions and videos about her will appear. In 2022, Shandong TV Station, CCTV International Channel and Tsinghua University Hero Culture Fund conducted more in-depth interviews and records of Lu Xue. Only then did we discover: Lu Xue is not only a Special Research Fellow of the China National Academy of Arts and a Folk Art Creation Research Fellow; she is not only the youngest recipient of the Order of the Dannebrog (Knight’s Cross) in China; she is not only the winner of awards such as the Inheritance Award for Inheritors of China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage and the China Talent Award; she is not only a torchbearer of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, a disseminator of China’s excellent traditional culture, and a promoter of cultural and artistic exchanges across the Taiwan Strait, Hong Kong and Macao—she is also a favorite among contemporary young people. Post-90s and post-00s who have experienced her works up close are amazed by her exquisite craftsmanship with her fingertips and convinced by her boundless imagination. It was not until 2022, a year of shining glory, that hollow-carving artist Lu Xue gradually mentioned her masterpiece of nearly 30 years of painstaking efforts——*The Classic of Mountains and Seas*.

The name *The Classic of Mountains and Seas* is no stranger to everyone. In recent years, the academic circle has been enthusiastic about "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", and its combination with the metaverse has become increasingly popular. As the popularity of *The Classic of Mountains and Seas* grows, the mythical beasts and exotic plants in the mountains and seas have gradually become known to the public. *The Classic of Mountains and Seas* is known as an ancient Chinese book of monsters and anomalies. It is said to have been written by people from the State of Chu or Bashu from the mid-to-late Warring States Period to the early-to-middle Western Han Dynasty, and is also called an absurd and extraordinary book. Modern people regard it as one of the four great strange books in ancient China, while ancient people believed that it was "compiled by curious scholars in the Warring States Period by extracting contents from *Biography of King Mu*, and integrating excerpts from *Zhuangzi*, *Liezi*, *Li Sao*, *Book of Zhou*, *Jin Cheng* and other works". Modern scholars also agree that it was not written at a single time by a single author. It is an ancient masterpiece with rich content and unique style, and can be called the originator of Chinese fantasy and magical literature.

As a dedicated illustrator and disseminator of traditional culture, Lu Xue has conducted in-depth research on *The Classic of Mountains and Seas*.
